VADODARA: A concert of prominent Pakistani singer Atif Aslam that was to be held in the city on Saturday has been postponed indefinitely. Organizers said the concert had to be postponed as other events of the singer that were a part of his tour in India were cancelled and it was difficult for the performers to come to India from Pakistan for just one event.
The concert was organized in association with Gujarat State AIDS Control Society and Gujarat State Council for Blood Transfusion. The event was supported by Lakshya Trust and proceeds from the concert were to be used for HIV/AIDS awareness. Organizers said the event would now be held at a suitable date later. The money for passes would be refunded to buyers at the pass collection outlets from Wednesday.
