In 2011, India bid farewell to two legends of Hindi cinema, two
gentlemen whose genius has been recognized the world over. Dev Anand
saab & Shammi Kapoor ji. Their life-long contribution to Bollywood
and love for cinema has inspired countless people to follow their
dreams. In a humble effort to honour these two icons, Carnival Media presents a live concert "Carnival's Legends Forever" in Dubai, on 21 June 2012, on International World Music Day, at Sheikh Rashid Hall, Dubai World Trade Center, featuring popular songs from their movies, performed live in the presence of their family members and other celebrities.
This is the first ever occasion where singers from two generations and Hindi movie lovers from 3 nations (India, Pakistan & Dubai) will come together in a musical extravaganza.
International superstar Atif Aslam will render legendary songs of these incredible artistes in his unique vocal belting technique, accompanied by Sadhana Sargam, who is a National Film Award Winner in India & the voice of every Bollywood actress.
Among other artistes, Anand Raaj Anand who has been a music director and composer of over 60 films & lyricist of over 20 soundtracks, Mohammed Aziz (voice of Mohammed Rafi), Shahid Rafi (son of Mohammed Rafi), and Shoma Banerjee will also pay tribute to the legends.
